How BJP won in Deoband where it has 71% of Muslim population, Selection of CM Candidate and effect of Demonitisation
Bjp has made huge victory in Uttar Pradesh 2017 Assembly elections by winning 300+seats.
In all the Assembly Constituencies it won everyone is shocked when BJP won Deoband Constituency where it has 71% of Muslim Population.
Deoband is a famous for Darul uloom Madrasa.BJP has won earlier 2 times in this constituency. But everytime the victory will be with SP or BSP.
Im sharing my point of view.Im not sure about Intellectuals end but i have interacted with different people on phone with nearly 20 people and 2 of our volunteers are in Darul Uloom School during election time from my interactions with all of them .
People in Deoband are fed up with the earlier Governments and MLA's elected there. Parties will come during election time do lot of promises and do nothing .This is everywhere in India.Every party will think that this is a fixed muslim vote bank for parties and they will easily win.
All UP has triangular fight.According to our understanding Deoband people voted for by seeing person and not by party.People of Deoband are least bothered about BJP's Victory .They lost hope on their elected representatives that they will work for them. BJP MLA Brijesh is good if compared to candidates of SP and BSP. If he is involved in Corruption or any Controversial issues next time he will not win.
Split in Muslim votes has also favoured BJP between SP & BSP. We should appreciate BJP's leadership in selecting candidates for Assembly Elections.
CM Candidate:
Coming to CM candidate yogi Adithyanath everyone is discussing that he has Hindutva face and he make Controversial statements. He was an MP for 4 times i think. In his constituency from 20 years Muslims didn't face any problem with him.Everyone is Happy.
People dont have many expectations on government from 60 years governments so far cheated people and everyone is Habituated for that.Unless the Government touches the Daily Bread of people it may be Hindu or Muslim everyone will be silent.Once he touches everyone will become Violent.
All remaining issues were raised between were for Political benefits.
Demonitisation:
BJP told Demonitisation is reason for its Victory and other parties told people have suffered because of Demonitisation and people dont vote for BJP.
I want to make a point clear that People suffered all over the year with banks and lack of cash during Demontisation time it was observed by all because of Media.
Generally 60% of ATM's dont work during demonitisatio time the percentage increased by 20% thats all.Suffering of people is common.
Demonitisation does not have any effect on Election neither positive nor negative. If you go and see now also ATM's dont work people stand in ques before bank for Cash.

Inaguaration of Logic Program in a Madrasa in Vijayawada
We have successfully started LLL activities in a Madrasa near Kanchikacharla. The strength of Madrasa is 40 members all are boys.
In Madrasa it will be more of Spiritual courses other academic courses will not be told much. But for the students after graduating from Madrasa they need some basic knowledge of Maths(Arithematic claculations) and some computer Knowledge.
For giving some basic knowledge to students on Maths we have started Logic program in Madrasa through which they can learn basic Arithematic Calculations.
We have started this program on February 28,2017.There will be 3 level of tests in which every student should write 40 tests per level .Every day he should write a maimum of 2 tests and discuss with other students about the questions.Group discussions will play a key role.
In 6 months all students will be able to do all Arithematic Calculations nothing less than a Corporate School students.
Meanwhile we will slowly start Computer Education.
Concept of Life Skills(Bala Sabha) in LLL Program
1a. Life Skills
: Singing and Telling Jokes
Need : Our schools generally create an
impression that they are no places for fun and all the learning that takes
place there is an inescapably terrible ordeal which the child has to endure to
get ready for another harrowing experience called exams. This naturally kills
the joy in learning and dissuades the children from going to school.
Remeady : Singing and dancing come naturally to children and can go a long way in
making schools lively and inviting places for children. Having fun and laughter
makes the day delightful and keeps the mind active and enthusiastic. A child a
day sings a song and another child tells a good joke or narrates a funny
incident (as per the annual plan prepared to involve every student and
displayed in the school) in the beginning of the post schooling session which
turns the attention of the children to the session and helps them calm down to
listen to the song, laugh merrily at the joke
and thus they get ready with a cheerful mood for the learning activities
that follow. It gives a wonderful feeling to a child to know that his talents
and skills can be exhibited and they are encouraged and appreciated by his
peers and elders. And when this happens at a school it helps the children shed
their fears and inhibitions and go to school with a positive and cheerful mind.
Indicator : 1. Participation and Performance
of the students in the Balasabha. 2.Initial increase and later a consistency in
the student attendance.
1b. Life Skills
: Story Telling
Need : The ability to communicate
properly is an essential skill that needs to be cultivated in every growing
child. It helps him interact with others in the school and the outer society,
share his thoughts and understand others' ideas and thoughts and thus helps him
grow into a healthy social individual. Children who lack this ability find it
very difficult to express themselves or tell about their problems to their
peers or their elders. They have many fears, dilemmas and apprehensions which
are not expressed and they become shy and timid. As days pass by these children
shrink from mingling with others and from attending school as they find it
difficult to cope with the learning activities in the school.
Remeady : Children love stories.Story telling is an educational merit and a very
efficient communication technique. It develops the creative, critical and
social skills of children. Stories and storytelling offer much more than an
opportunity for literacy development in children: they can be an integral
mechanism for sharing knowledge, creating understanding, and transmitting and
exploring ethics, values, and moral dilemmas.
Story telling sessions if planned and executed properly can make the
children take part in it with enthusiasm and cultivate the interset in them to
come to school regularly as they begin to find learning at school an interesting
and exciting activity.A child a day tells a story (as per the annual plan
prepared to involve every student) in
the beginning of the post schooling session which naturally involves the
attention of the children. Their story telling skills are appreciated in front
of other children and in the presence of the important elders in the society
which tremendously boosts their confidence levels and encourages other children
to come forward to show their narrating skills.
Indicator : 1.Participation and Performance of
the students in the Balasabha. 2.Children
vying with each other to tell stories 3.
Initial increase and later a consistency in the student attendance.
1c. Life Skills
: Vaarthalu-Viseshaalu
Need : Children should be instilled with
a sense of belonging about their school. As long as this is not done they do
not feel they are involved in the process of schooling and they do not feel
interested and lack the motivation to come to school.
Remeady : Children, if kept well informed in the simple language they understand
about the happenings of their surroundings, will acquire the power to think, to
respond, to involve, to act and to change for the good. As they involve they
own and they act. As they act they change for their betterment. As a part of everyday programme at the post
schooling session a child a day shall read the news (as per the annual plan
prepared to involve every student) prepared in a simple language by the
students about the main events of the day that took place in the school and the
village and also about the events that happened around the world. This
encourages them to take an interest in what is happening around them in the
school and society and to share their observation with others. In the process
they cultivate a sense of belonging about the school and feel motivated to
attend school.
Indicator : 1.Maintenance of the news journal
prepared by the students everyday. 2. Participation and Performance of the
students in the Balasabha
1d. Life Skills
: Community Participation
Need : The role of the enlightened
community and the elders in the society in stopping the drop-outs is very
crucial. If they are complacent and indifferent to the education of the
children of their village, children fail to realise and imbibe the importnace
of and interest in attending school. This is one of the major reasons for the
huge drop-outs.
Remeady : The enlightened community and the
elders of the society shall be involved by inviting them to the balasabhas as
guests and by asking them to observe the performance of the children and
motivate them with their messages and narration of real life experiences that
would highlight the importance of education and bless them and encourage them
by distributing the prizes to the best performers of the events of the week.
Children will surely feel motivated when such persons whom they respect or
admire come to spend time with them and talk to them. Encouraged by this they
begin to understand what an important place school is and start feeling a sense
of respect for school and their teachers.
Indicator : 1. Organising Balasabhas
regularly 2. Properly organising the
complete schedule of the balasabha. 3.
Active participation of the members of the community as mentioned in every
Balasabha.
Concept of Logic in LLL Program
Basic Competencies
: Arithmatic Skills
Need : The children without basic competencies in arithmatic cannot
participate in teaching and learning process of their standard academic
mathematics. If efforts are not made in the direction of helping them acquire
these basic competencies there will be no value addition to their presence in
the class room. As they do not understand what they are learning and why, they
gradually lose interest in attending the classes and in course of time turn
their attention towards other things and thus end up as drop-outs even after
attending the school for sometime.
Remedy : The children shall be facilitated
to aquire basic competencies in arithmatic by allowing them to do and practice
and learn in groups in the post schooling session for one hour a day monitored
and coordinated by a Vidya Volunteer. He/She shall be paid a Performance Based
Incentive (PBI) for the improvement of the child @ 10 rupees/ability/child.
Because of the PBI he/she shall search for all the possible ways to create interest
and bring improvement in the children.
Indicators of
Improvement : Children
shall be assessed in these competencies (A list of basic competencies are
enclosed) through the written tests prepared as per the blue print enclosed
here. The question paper shall be prepared to assess the stated competencies by any person authorised
by a monitoring team at mandal level constituted for the purpose. A base line
test shall be conducted before the execution of the project work and later it
shall be conducted once in every month and their performance shall be recorded
and approved by the monitoring committee. This helps to track the improvement
in the learning of the children and take remedial measures if necessary.
Concept of Language in LLL Program
1a. Basic
Competencies : Reading and Writing Skills
Need : The ability to read and understand is by itself a wonderful
motivating factor for children to read everything that comes their way and it
can tremendously enhance their learning abilities. It is natural that children
who cannot read find schooling a tedious exercise and wish to stay away from
books and school. Children need to be helped to appreciate the importance of
reading and understanding a language and this has to begin with one's mother
tongue. (Children who are good at reading one language will naturally acquire
the ability to learn and appreciate other languages too). This can be done only
through motivating them to read interesting stories (strictly no academic
books) written in simple language. The children who cannot read their mother
tongue (read it as telugu) by themselves find it difficult to understand what
they are learning and hence cannot involve themslves in the learning exercise
that happens at school. This very quickly extinguishes their interest in the
study of not only telugu but also their other subjects. They feel handicapped
even to search for what is interesting for them to learn. As most of them are not comfortable in
reading telugu(considering telugu as the medium of instruction) they do not
enjoy the learning process that happens mostly in the mother tongue in the
school. To make things worse, in the public schools, the children rarely find a
person who can really identify their innate skiils and talent and can guide
them and so they slowly begin to stay away from school.
Remedy : We need to encourage the children to read books of their own choice
at their own pace with out correcting their mistakes and without asking them to
reproduce or remember what they have learnt. We should involve them in various
activities in which they are interested and which will entice them to books and
read them by themselves. The children shall be facilitated to read story books
of their choice in the first phase for at least 45 minutes a day in the
Pre-Schooling session and as a continuation to it they shall be asked to share
with their friends for 15 minutes the interesting things they have read in the
books. This they shall do sitting in groups which will familarise the group
with the contents in other books and motivates them to read other books the
next day. This whole exercise shall be
monitored and coordinated by a Vidya Volunteer.
Activity : Children in groups
distributing books – Two or three shall speak on this during the
assembly – Children distributing books during their leasure time and hence
utilising the time effectively. With out distributing their regular schedule
and their games period.
Resources : Graded story books, Children
magazines,
Indicators of
Improvement: Retention of the strength in the
Pre-Schooling sessions shall itself be a strong indicator (Children, if not
interested in reading books will not attend the Pre-School). Children shall be
assessed through a written test prepared as per the blue print enclosed. The
question paper shall be prepared to assess the stated competencies by any
person authorised by a monitoring team at mandal level constituted for the
purpose. A base line test shall be conducted before the execution of the
project work and later it shall be conducted once in every six months and their
performance shall be recorded and approved by the monitoring committee. This
helps to track the improvement in the learning of the children and take
remedial measures if necessary.
Publishing of
articles in magazines and news papers
1b. Self
Motivation : Creativity and Drawing
Need : School has to identify and hone the creative skills present in a
student. If this is not done the children with a potential for creative
expression get demotivated to attend school. Mere writing or copying from the
books is a dull and dreary exercise for them that kills their enthusiasm and
makes them lose interest in going to school.
Remedy : Asking all the children everyday
to draw what they like and exhibiting their works in the school for all the
other students to see shall be very motivating for the children who are gifted
with such skills. If the same is admired and appreciated by the enlightened and
important people of the society on a special occasion, it will be a tremendous
boost to the children and will increase
their interest in going to school and also in sharpening their skills.
Indicators of
Improvement:
1. Proper maintenance of drawing books by the students with pictures
drawn everyday.
2.The drawing exhibitions organised in every balasabha.
3.Participation and Performance of the students in Balasabha.
